There’s a con­test going on at “Letsmix.com” It’s called the “Next Gen­er­a­tion DJ Con­test”. The prize is more than just a bit of soft­ware or a cool set of fancy head­phones. The prize is pretty much the end-all for con­tests of this kind … basi­cally it’s a shot a being the next ‘Above & Beyond’ or ‘Armin van Buuren’. This is the real deal.

I’ve been enter­ing mixes in a bunch of ran­dom con­tests, but decided that this one needed was impor­tant enough to upload one of the later, more well received mixes. So EXHILARATOR, it is.

But … There’s a big “catch” in the way the win­ner is cho­sen here. No mat­ter how good the mix is … I need votes! I need over 100 lis­tens and the high­est star rat­ings to move on to the next stage. And that’s how I need you to help. Lis­ten to EXHILARATOR, rate the mix (of course I’d love 5 stars, I won’t lie) and share the mix on your Face­book Page, your Twit­ter, your blog, your what­ever … email the link, tell all your friends to lis­ten and vote and tell them to do the same thing pass the link on encour­age every­one to vote (and vote soon) … there are only a few days left — the dead­line is Jan 31^st.

Trance­formed on “djdigit’s Dance Music Revolution”

Last week I planned on mix­ing a show that was funky, groovy and titled “The Sound of Sat­ur­day Night”. But that never hap­pened; at least it didn’t hap­pen the way I’d planned. That’s the beauty of music; when you let it take you on its jour­ney it will show you won­der­ful new places and inspire you in amaz­ing new ways.

The Big Move — The Journey Begins

Many of you know I’ve been in Tacoma, WA for 8 years now. On and off, I’ve jug­gled between being a man­ager of sev­eral dif­fer­ent retail estab­lish­ments to design­ing web­sites and writ­ing music, pod­cast­ing … I’ve never fully “gone for it!” (so to speak). Well, events have occured lately that are requir­ing me to rearrange my life yet again. And I’ve decided that if I don’t go for it now …
