djdigit’s bandcamp

Camp is great, but at some point, you have to pack and go home … So, I’m pulling my CDs from one of my hosted sites bandcamp.com, so that it can be focused on iTunes, Rhapsody and a few of the other main online shops …

But before I take the pages down, I’m giving everyone one more chance to get the CDs at the prices I choose not what iTunes chooses. When you buy from me, you get a couple things the big boys won’t give you:
+ Your Choice of High Quality Format — MP3, AAC, Apple Lossless, FLAC … all for the same price.
+ The choice to pay by Credit Card, or PayPal.

… And most importantly — the money you pay supports the artist — me. Apple doesn’t get any, distributors don’t get any. I get to pay my bills and make more great music without even involving them. Sure, you can get the music from them, it’s on iTunes and every major distributor, but it costs more for you, and I get less from them. I hope you’ll grab you chance to help support my endeavors while getting some awesome music for awesome prices …

Many of you know I’ve been in Tacoma, WA for 8 years now. On and off, I’ve juggled between being a manager of several different retail establishments to designing websites and writing music, podcasting … I’ve never fully “gone for it!” (so to speak). Well, events have occured lately that are requiring me to rearrange my life yet again. And I’ve decided that if I don’t go for it now …
well, I never will. So, I’m moving to Los Angeles; I might make a quick stop in San Francisco first (depending on whether I can get a couple gigs).

I’ll be updating more on my site, on Facebook … everywhere. Everything is happening so fast!

This is probably the biggest fastest decision I’ve had to make. But if I don’t go all the way … I might as well not go. And that would be giving up on something I began dreaming of in 2nd grade. I won’t be doing that … ever.
