It’s been a long time since I posted about what’s going on, so I figured it’s definitely time for an update. This one’s going to be a bit short, but I’ll sum up the last 2.5 years real quick.
Here Goes … I moved from Seattle/Tacoma, WA to Houston, TX in 2010. I became resident DJ at a new club in Houston and expanded my creative portfolio ten-fold while I was there. In July of 2012 I moved to Los Angeles, CA and live in North Hollywood. Currently, I freelance audio production as well as digital media creative type stuff (you know the interwebs stuff).
I’m still writing music, still releasing podcasts, still DJing (here and there) … And things are about to get 100 times cooler. So, I’ll be writing and posting more … I need to share my excitement with all of you, and not just my dog.
Hurry!! Time is running out to vote for EXHILARATOR in the “Next Generation DJ Contest” at - http://j.mp/4JJBIR
There’s a contest going on at “Letsmix.com” It’s called the “Next Generation DJ Contest”. The prize is more than just a bit of software or a cool set of fancy headphones. The prize is pretty much the end-all for contests of this kind … basically it’s a shot a being the next ‘Above & Beyond’ or ‘Armin van Buuren’. This is the real deal.
I’ve been entering mixes in a bunch of random contests, but decided that this one needed was important enough to upload one of the later, more well received mixes. So EXHILARATOR, it is.
But … There’s a big “catch” in the way the winner is chosen here. No matter how good the mix is … I need votes! I need over 100 listens and the highest star ratings to move on to the next stage. And that’s how I need you to help. Listen to EXHILARATOR, rate the mix (of course I’d love 5 stars, I won’t lie) and share the mix on your Facebook Page, your Twitter, your blog, your whatever … email the link, tell all your friends to listen and vote and tell them to do the same thing pass the link on encourage everyone to vote (and vote soon) … there are only a few days left — the deadline is Jan 31st.
I’m gonna thank all of you now. You’ve all helped me work hard to make and release great music. And the response I get a lot is “WOW!” That’s what I want to do around the world, make people feel wow’d and I hope you’ll help me make that happen.
Here’s the link again and remember … hurry!

It’s that time of year when we all start looking back and remembering how life seemed to treat us for the last 12 months. I hope y’all had a great year. I know that even through the tough moments I’ve had friends, family, all of you … and of course, the music. Music always shows me the light at the end of the tunnel … And there always is a light. Have a Safe and Happy Holiday Season and keep looking to the light!

Camp is great, but at some point, you have to pack and go home … So, I’m pulling my CDs from one of my hosted sites bandcamp.com, so that it can be focused on iTunes, Rhapsody and a few of the other main online shops …
Last week I planned on mixing a show that was funky, groovy and titled “The Sound of Saturday Night”. But that never happened; at least it didn’t happen the way I’d planned. That’s the beauty of music; when you let it take you on its journey it will show you wonderful new places and inspire you in amazing new ways.
